Welcome to the Quiet Transition.

What to expect

I publish twice a week.

  • One longer post exploring a specific aspect of relationships during the menopause transition

  • One shorter “Midlife Brief” with a sharper idea, insight, or observation from the week

I also host regular live conversations (usually weekly) with therapists, coaches, and people working in this space, focused on making sense of what’s actually happening in real relationships.

Most of what you’ll read here sits somewhere between:

  • real-life observations

  • conversations with experts

  • and the everyday moments that feel slightly off but are hard to explain

You won’t find long lists of what you “should” be doing.
You won’t be told to fix your partner.
And you don’t need any prior knowledge of menopause to be here.

Some posts will land immediately. Others might only click later.

That’s normal.
